For New Year’s Eve, I curled my hair in loose waves. To achieve this look you need to start off with 2nd or 3rd day hair. This is because hair can be styled easier with more textured or worn in hair. You will also need a 25mm wand or a 1 inch barrel. Mine is from a Nume set and is the medium wand inbeteeen the other two.
My curling wand is no longer available for purchase but linked same barrel sized set. This set is better than mine as it has an adjustable heat setting. The wand uses titanium technology to strengthen hair instead of damaging it!

To achieve my loose curls follow these steps!
Step 1: Section your hair off depending on how thick your hair is. I separate in two sections; a top and bottom. Step 2: Next grab a 1 inch section and twist around the barrel. Step 3: Hold section on wand for 12 seconds. Step 4: Release hair but keep in hand to hold curl for longer.
Tips for keeping hair curled and volumized longer!
Tip 1: Use dry shampoo and/or texturizing spray to get same hair texture as second and third day hair. Tip 2: For even longer lasting curls, another option is to clip the heated curl in clip until all curls are finished. Tip 3: Flip head over after all curls are finished to shake out and loosen curls for a more relaxed look. Tip 4: Hair spray hair once head fliped over to recieve better volume. Scrunch hair to result in longer lasting curls.
