How to Style: Statement Booties

For these recent cold months, statement booties have been a huge trend. Sometimes it can be difficult to pair outfits with bold booties, but I share 4 tips and outfits to styling bold boots. Next time when you can’t find an outfit use these four tips to easily put together a look.

Tip 1: Add a color in the same tone of the booties

Both the sweater and the booties have light tones. The light pink sweater works perfectly with the boots nice it's not too overpowering. To keep the look simple I added blue skinnies.

Tip 2: Use a direct color from the booties to match your top and shoes together

I styled this red off the shoulder sweater with my contrast booties to balance out the color through my outfit. Since the two reds are bold colors black jeans work perfectly as they don't add any color.

Tip 3: Style the booties with neutral colors, includes black, white, and browns

I added this black turtleneck sweater because it complements the boots. Neutrals also allow for the boots to be the main focus point of the outfit, directing all the attention towards them.

Tip 4: Style the booties with leather or jean jackets. These jackets can be paired with anything, great for a simple look.

I added the jean jacket with this all black look to balance out the color in the outfit. These types of outfits are great go-tos because you will look put together without putting much effort into the outfit.
